On a one-day sightseeing tour in Vilnius, you will go to the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, where during the tour you will see preserved and discovered unique finds and learn the history of the residence. You will also take part in a hard cheese tasting - taste differently aged cheeses with various apetizers and get to know the peculiarities of cheese consuming culture.

During this one-day tour, firstly a sightseeing tour of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania awaits you, here you will hear about the development of the residence of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania and its territory in the context of Lithuania and Europe. You will also walk through the impressive archaeological reserve, which surrounds the palace, you will see the preserved authentic masonry and the unique finds found in this area.
After the excursion in the Palace, you will participate in the tasting of gourmet-approved DŽIUGAS cheeses. You will learn what goes well with different cheeses, how to eat them, so that you can feel the rich palette of smells and tastes of these cheeses. While tasting 48 36, 24, 18 and 12-month-aged hard cheese with honey, jam, pears and other combinations you will also hear stories about the culture of cheese consumption, trends and the benefits of cheese.
